Armea Banaag

Sapang Palay National High School held its first career guidance seminar to help graduating students identify which career paths to take for the next academic year on Tuesday, December 5.

The seminar featured esteemed speakers from Our Lady of Fatima University, Department of Labor and Employment, Provincial Youth, Sports and Public Employment Office, and St. Dominic Savio College, who provided valuable insights on various aspects related to students' future prospects.

During the event, students were enlightened about the wide array of programs and state-of-the-art facilities offered by universities and colleges.

Additionally, ethical considerations while applying for job positions were also emphasized as an integral part of their career development.

Ma'am Jennifer Bernardino, Teacher II, in an interview, highlighted the importance of such initiatives and asserted that they play a vital role in empowering students with the necessary knowledge and wisdom to make informed decisions about their future after senior high school.

Furthermore, to ensure maximum student participation and comfort, the seminar was conducted in three batches. This is to allow well-ventilated accommodations and to avoid overcrowding, enabling students to focus better on the sessions.
