With multiple booths and activities, Sapang Palay National High School (SPNHS) joined in with the celebration of National Students' Day (NSD) today, November 17, 2023.
With the theme "Pilipinong Mag-aaral: Huwaran ng Kagitingan, may MATATAG na Paninindigan," the SPNHS recognized the day by conducting various booths throughout the senior high campus.
The event consisted of booths such as food stalls, marriage booth, jail booth, and more.
In an interview held by the Pillar staff, a student from STEM 11 - Pythagoras stated that the Students' Day was a reward.
“Despite the scorching heat, with plenty of booths and different attractions to try, I can say that Students' Day is a reward. With the camaraderie of different school organizations and the coordination of my fellow SPeans, a lot of things were made possible.” she said.
Another student also expressed that she was able to help design the booths of the organization she takes part in and experienced one of the stalls that were presented.
“I was also again jailed on YLU's jail booth. Plus, I had the chance to witness my friend's marriage, which was totally so cute.” she added.
