Driven to help young journalists in improving their writing skills, Samahan ng Ibinuklod na Kabataang may Layong Angat Bayan (SIKLAB) held a seminar workshop titled “Pluma Palihan sa Teknikal na Pagsulat,” October 28, 2023.
In a short interview conducted by The Pillar, Joshua Karlo Barrameda, SIKLAB Chairperson stated that they handled this project to teach the students of Sapang Palay National High School in terms of technical writing.
"Basically, maturuan namin 'yung mga student ng Sapang Palay National High School kung paano nga ba 'yung tamang pagsulat ng technical writing especially for journalists," Barrameda said.
SIKLAB discussed different types of letters and the basics of writing them, how to create project proposals and their significance, and much more.
The workshop was attended by The Pillar and Ang Suhay School Paper Advisers, The Pillar and Ang Suhay Editorial Board, The Pillar and Ang Suhay Staffers and campus journalists.
