After being overthrowed by National University (NU) in the last season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Cheerleader Competition, FEU power-ups to topple and bag their fourth win from UAAP CDC Season 86, at the Mall of Asia Arena, Saturday, December 2.

The Tamaraws erupt with a gamified nostalgic experience for the 18,122 fans to hype up, earning them a score of 702.5 points, enough to deny NU's eighth win in 10 seasons.

“Honestly, (winning the championship) was not really our goal. Our goal is just to complete our routine and to give justice to Super Mario because last year we failed to give justice to Francis M. our performance last year so this year our mindset was to just do our best and see what happens,” FEU coach, Randell San Gregorio, shares his delighment.

He added, “We’re super blessed we won it again, our fourth. Technically, this is a double celebration because FEU now holds the most podium finish in cheerdance history with 21. So we got two records for FEU. We’re just grateful.”

Banging their heads on the beat, last season's crowned winners, NU, settles for second spot with 697 points as they perform top hits from Elvis Presley' catalogue.

UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe finishes third place for the third time with a total point of 684 garnered as they battle with songs from K-Pop Girl Group, Blackpink.

Adamson PEP Squad misses top spots as their vibrant act inspired by the movie "Trolls" boosts them up 665 points.

Nostalgic perfomance of University of the Philippines Pep Squad with the songs of Filipino band, Eraserheads, puts them fifth with 602 points.

University of the East Pep Squad with 559 points claims sixth with a 90's anime-themed execution. On the other hand De La Salle University Animo Squad with Latin-themed perfomance, finished seventh netting 555.5 points. Meanwhile, Ateneo Blue Eagles, from their Super Bowl-inspire perfomance, ends last place with 532 points.
