8 Cups of Water a Day Keeps Dehydration Away!

As the Intramurals 2024 in Sapang Palay National High School kicks off, everyone is reminded to stay hydrated in the heated battles. It is important to enjoy the program without having you, our fellow SPeans, to be thirsty in the intensity of the moment.


Did you know that being hydrated at all times plays a vital role in any performance? Hydration is the foundation of all. Water helps regulate our body temperature, supports sweat production, and aids muscle nutrients. And on top of that, water flushes toxins out of our bodies!

The standard amount of water that an individual should take is at least 8 cups per day. It is to prevent the signs of dehydration which are dizziness, dry mouth, and headache, and to avoid being out of focus.


Being parched takes all of our energy, let’s not forget to stay hydrated from time to time. A friendly reminder that hydration is an essential for our physical and mental body.

The Intramurals 2024 requires a lot of energy and physical movement; therefore, it is best to take care of ourselves by doing small things like this. Prioritize your health, ace that sport, cheer with all you can, and drink your water. SPeans, it’s not rocket science!
